Q.		What size dresses do you carry?
A.		Elderberry Brides carry dresses of all sizes from UK size 6 upwards. We are also specialists in plus size bridal gowns up to UK size 30 for brides with a fuller figure. » Visit our plus size website.

Q.		Do I need an appointment?
A.		While an appointment is not always necesssary, we strongly advise that you make one so that you can get the full benefit of our highly personalised service. Appointments are available for weekday evenings (excluding Monday) and weekends. » Request an appointment.

Q.		What's the delivery time for a gown?
A.		The delivery time varies depending on the manufacturer. Typically, it can take between 8 and 20 weeks but rest assured you will be notified as soon as your gown has arrived. You should arrange to collect and pay for your dress in full within 30 days of being notified. » Contact us if you have items to collect.

Q.		How do I place an order and pay?
A.		You can place an order in store by cash or cheque (with a current bank guarantee card) and we accept most major credit cards. We can also accept orders in writing. We do not currently offer any other forms of credit, therefore, all gowns must be paid for in full either before or on collection or before despatch. » See our terms & conditions.

Q.		How are the dresses priced?
A.		All of our bridal gowns are priced very competitively to suit all budgets - ranging from as little as £350.00 and upwards for a bridal gown depending on the designer, the style, and the fabric. Bridesmaids dresses start from £120.00 although we do have hugely reduced sale items from time to time as well as discounts for multiple purchases. » Contact us for pricing information.

Q.		What if I need an alteration?
A.		· Elderberry Brides a full, in-house gown alteration service for wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and other special occasion wear. » See our website for more details.

Q.		What are some of the different types of trains and how long are they?
A.		· Cathedral length trains extend approx. 2 metres or more from the waist. · Semi-cathedral length trains extend just under 2 metres from the waist. · Chapel trains extend from 1 to 1.5 meters from the waist.

Q.		What are some of the different types of waistlines?
A.		· Basque waistlines are slightly elongated, dipping to a point at the centre front. · Asymmetrical waistlines begin at the natural waistline and angle down to one side. · Dropped waistlines fall to several inches below the natural waistline.

Q.		What are some of the different types of necklines?
A.		· A Scoop neckline is low and rounded. · A Queen Anne neckline is high at the back and the sides of the neck, angling outward and then across the top of the bustline. · An Illusion neckline is transparent lace or netting that begins at a high or jewelled neckline and ends just above the bustline. · A Sweetheart neckline begins 2" inside the shoulder line and dips to a heart shape at the bustline.
