Why Richard Designs?

A wedding veil from Richard Designs offers the bride a wide choice of material for her veil including organza, chiffon, soft veiling (faux silk) or millinery net with either plain stitched edges or elaborate embroidery while satin ribbon edges will provide that classic, magical look for any bride.

Caring for your wedding veil

Care

Hang to allow creases to fall out naturally and kept away from pets or small children. After a few days hanging, the creases will fall out and you will have a perfect veil for your big day.

Ironing

While it may be tempting to iron your veil, there are two good reasons why you shouldn't do this:
1. The heat-sensitive bonding will be permanently damaged if ironed or steamed.
2. Even a low-temperature iron can discolour, burn or even melt the veiling.

Wearing

Lift and separate the layers at the comb to give the most delicate look and drape. If your veil is long you can drape the longest tier gracefully over your arm as you walk to your wedding car. This will also prevent others from stepping on it!

Storage

Fold very lightly and pack with acid-free tissues. Never wash or dry clean. Any marks can be gently sponged off with a warm, mild detergent solution.
